Driver For Labelflash Dvd Drive Driver

I am trying to do a new install on a Emachine 1352-01e that I just purchased. I get to a point in the beginning of installation and get a message that says: Load Driver: A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver.

I tried using the install DVD.iso disk that I created and it couldn't find a driver and the Emachine website doesn't have a driver for a CD/DVD device either. I also looked at the Labelflash website and didn't see anything. If someone could lead me in the right direction I would so appreciate your help and effort. The DVD is a Labelflash Multi DVD/CD RW+ Model DH-16A6S When I hit the F12 on computer startup the info on that particular drive is: CD/DVD:4M-ATAPI DVD A DH16A6 TIA for your help.

This issue might occur when driver is not updated properly. I suggest you to try the below method and check if it helps. Method 1: Run Hardware and device troubleshooter. Follow the below steps.

Type troubleshooting in the Search area on the taskbar. Type “ Troubleshooting” without quotes in the Search box and hit enter. Select “ Hardware and Sound” from the Troubleshooter Window.

Select “ Hardware and Devices” under Devices option. Follow the On Screen instructions. Method 2: Uninstall the driver from Device Manager and scan for new hardware to install the driver again. 1) Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop. 2) Select Device Manager. 3) Expand CD/DVD ROM.

We will be happy to help you. Hi, I followed the link given in your message (of to use the Fix-it tool.

Apparently the page at the link says, the Fix-it is not available for the Windows version that I am using i.e. Windows 10. So I am stuck there. The hardware manufacturer (Asus) has refused to attend to this problem giving following reasons: (1) The drive was working perfectly as a Blu Ray disc reader + DVD Writer before migrating to Win 10 AND (2) The model of laptop NX90Jq is out of life The drive does not even recognize a Blu ray or DVD discs even to read them. I'm having a similar problem with my ASUS GW16D1HT. Windows 10 Device Manager says 'the best driver software for your device is already installed' and that the driver software for my device is up to date - but I can't play, let alone write, a DVD or Blue Ray. Reading the Windows 8 advice (which is supposed to still be applicable for this problem) reminds me of the Dilbert cartoon - I don't know whether there's a bug or it's a great marketing scheme.

Not to go too far from the thread, but I have a similar problem with My Epson WF-7501 printer - Epson is now relying on the Windows 10 drivers, so I can't print at any high resolution (I used to use 2400 DPI for small-scale decals for my model railroad). The reason I didn't become a Windows Insider was because I didn't want to lose capabilities - but your 'stable' updates have done that anyway.

Very disappointing! And, of course, Fix-it! Doesn't work because it isn't available for Windows 10.
