From the files you have, hopefully the DVD files not CD files. 1) install CDDVD-rom Gen, Dummy File Creator, and iml2dvd 2) Create a Dummy file. I'm not sure of the size you need I don't know the size of the files you have. Just make it as big as possible, maybe around 1 gig if there's room. Just keep total file size under the size of your SM 2.0 disk and it should due.
3) Run cd dvd-gen and select create new project then select DVD-ROM Master Disk 4) drag all SM 3.8 files and folders + dummy file into CDDVD-Gen. 5) Click Volume tab and insert SCES 50003 in the disk name field, put PLAYSTATION in producer and copywriter fields. 6) Click file at the top select Export iml file. 7) Choose destination and wait for file creation, then close CDDVD Generator 8) Now open iml2dvd and choose your newly created iml file. 9) sit back and wait for your iso to be created then burn with Alcohol 120% or Nero.
Trying to boot downloaded iso burnt at lowest speed 2x, with Nero 6.3 ultra (finilazed). Tried 3 different isos.

TOC is less than 4.35 gb. Is there something that we needed to do with the isos to boot with SM3.8. I did not see any SM fixes for these titles. Getting Red screen. First shows 'No Data Reading disk' screen then RSOD. I think switch install ok as I can boot with SM with lid open, then I swap once at SM menu and hit X.
Wish there was a sticky for SM users that explains what needs to be done to get started. Have been going throuh threads last 2 days, see nothing concrete. I see others had same problems with SM 3.8. Used 2 diff media Sony DVD+RW, Memorex DVD-RW. DVD video played fine from this media.

Where did you download the iso. Guy's you can not boot a downloaded, or copied Swap Magic Disc, unless you have the original,you'll get a red screen,unable to read disc,disk error,or black screen. No matter what media you use,but it will boot if you load the original disc, then the back up. There are blank spaced grooves in the original that prevents the disc from reading the ps2 boot code,but the code can be read from he original disc. I see tons of people downloading daily,and if they read the comments, they would read that it simply won't boot.
